Velma Walkthrough

2025 Winnebago Revel 44e

Specifications & Capacities

Velma is a 2025 Winnebago Revel 44E , built upon a 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.

The 2.0L high-output, turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine, delivering 211 horsepower and 330 pounds of torque, is the optimal balance of power and mileage. Velma specifically boasts a lifetime average over 17 mpg with less than 32k miles on the odometer (as of 8/2026).

While considerably larger than most passenger vehicles, it is not much bigger than the average pickup truck on the road today. At a length of 19’7” and a width of 7’5”, it fits in most parking spaces and even parallel parking is possible. You'll need to keep in mind the height of 10', as you won't be able to go through the drive-thru or enter any parking garages.

With an interior ceiling height at 6’3” and a Full size bed in the back, those on the taller side don’t have to feel overly cramped.

There are 3-point seatbelts for four (4) people - the two front captain's chairs and the two bucket seats in the dinette area. The Full size bed in the rear will only sleep two, but you can select the Luno Pro Van Front Cab Mattress add-on and you'll be able to add sleeping space for a third - keep in mind the 5'6" and 120lb limit will only accommodate a child or small adult.

When you need to charge your devices or simply want to plug in a laptop or other appliance, you'll find USB-C, USB-A, 120V and 12V charging ports throughout the van's interior. The dinette has a removable table that stows away during travel, but is adequate for meals inside if the weather is bad or for setting up a small office, should you absolutely need to check in during your much needed escape.

When your exploring takes you farther away from the reaches of society, or maybe you just don't want to stop at the fuel station more than you need to, a full tank of 24.5 gallons of diesel can take you nearly 400 miles.

You'll also have 35 gallons of fresh water on board, whether for cooking, dishes and showering - inside or outside. You can even use the outside shower sprayer to clean off muddy boots or gear.

The 21 gallon gray water tank has more than enough capacity for a week's worth of dishes and even if you're using the inside shower, you'll still be able to go multiple days without worrying about draining.

Cab Conveniences

Cab seating includes two captain's chairs with adjustable headrest, slide, swivel and recline, also with adjustable lumbar support. Other amenities include driver and passenger airbags, 3-point seatbelts, power mirrors and door locks, power windows, sun visors, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, as well as power assist steering, active braking assist, blind spot assist, attention assist, traffic sign assist and active lane keeping assist.

With storage compartments and nooks abound, there’s ample storage for your devices and all those knickknacks you need close by. You’ll also find a Wolfbox G900TriPro 4k camera rear view mirror upgrade. In addition to the side mirrors and the standard front and rear back up cameras, the Wolfbox upgrade allows you to see out the back camera view at all times.

The MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) Infotainment system allows for Apple CarPlay and Android connectivity, allowing you to use your own preferred map application, stream your favorite music or use voice activated communications.

House Amenities

The back of the van - the House - has everything you need for your own adventures, even the kitchen sink.

The rear interior has LED lighting throughout, even more storage with cabinets and overhead shelves and nooks, numerous charging ports, a deluxe powered ventilator fan and heavy duty vinyl flooring.

The dinette area, just behind the cab, has two additional bucket seats, each with its own 3-point seatbelt. The inside seat slides over to allow for more shoulder and elbow room. There is a removable and stowable table for dining or putting in a little time in the office.

The kitchen provides adequate laminate counter space, a drawer-stored portable single burner induction cooktop, a 3.0 cu.ft. (12V) refrigerator/freezer, a stainless steel sink with single control faucet and a pull-out sprayer. There is additional cabinet, drawer and rack storage for dishes, pots, pans, utensils and cleaning supplies. Also included is a mini-Keurig for coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

The bath - or as we like to call it the Use-As-You-Choose closet/bathroom/shower - has a swivelling toilet, which should you choose to use it, empties into the black-tank cassette toilet, which can be emptied at any park or campground dumping station or even in a rest area or gas station toilet under dire circumstances. The space also serves as a shower, with both hot and cold water, a flexible shower head, as well as a shower curtain, bath mats, a mirror and hooks for towels or a robe. If you're using the space only as a closet or even as storage of items that you'll move about when using the shower or toilet, there is removable shelving, a hanging rod with hangers included. The bath also has its own separate powered roof vent.

In the rear bedroom, you'll find a Full size power lift bed. When not being used or for easier access to the garage area, the bed can be raised nearly to the ceiling. There is a divider to provide privacy or keep out light. There are many additional charging ports and LED lighting.

The garage area, beneath the bed, is where you can store most of your gear, especially the larger items like coolers, bags, suitcases, etc. There are L-track tie downs and adjustable bungee cords supplied to help you keep your gear from banging and sliding around while driving.

Heading Outside

As with most vans, you'll find a sliding passenger-side door, as well as cargo doors on the back. Both locations also have screen "doors" with magnetic closures to allow for zipper-free coming and going.

There are porch lights out both sides of the van, as well as under lighting, making it easier to see when walking around or climbing in and out of the van at night.

There is a fold down table, which can be used for setting up the induction cook top or just placing food or drinks for the buffet.

While you will find a ladder on the rear, it is not for general use and should only be used to inspect for damages or perform repairs.

Heating & Cooling

Multi-zone heating and the water heating system, with LED touch panel, provided by Hydronic heater that can be run off either the main diesel supply or, when connected to shore power, the electrical heating element.

Electrical Systems

Whether charging devices, turning on lighting, using the induction cook top or all other things electrical, the van is equipped with a 8.4kWh Lithionics lithium-ion battery, with an AC/DC load center and a 5-in-1 power management controller that provides 3,600-watt inverter and DC-DC converter and allows the system to be charged via shore power, solar panels or the main alternator. On the roof are two solar panels, providing 210-watts of solar charging. Shore power is provided through a 30-amp power cord, but can also be plugged into a standard 120V outlet for trickle charging the battery system.

Plumbing Systems

The on-demand water pump supplies water from the 35-gal fresh water tank. Hot and cold water are available at the kitchen sink, the bath and at the rear for outdoor showering or hosing off gear. The water can be refilled inside the back door, simply by hooking up the hose to a potable water supply and turning the appropriate knob. The 21-gal gray water holding tank, drains from the kitchen sink and bath shower drain and can be emptied easily out the driver side port.

Safety

There is both a smoke detector and a carbon monoxide detector. A fire extinguisher is installed behind the front passenger seat, just inside the sliding door. Many of the outlets are also protected by GFCI receptacles.

Privacy & Noise

Privacy window shades are included for the cab area, as well as on the slider door window. The smaller acrylic windows on the driver side have their own accordion style shades and bug screens. The back door area has a black out "cover", which also has a zipper-open bug screen. The roof vent in the kitchen and dinette area can be notoriously loud when going down the road, so we've installed a magnetic, removable cover, helping to quiet the road and wind noise, but also to help retain the heating or cooling.
